CONTEXT

The installation consists of creature-like sculptures that can be linked to

each other through octogonal pieces and Poka Y-oke.

With this installation Melissa Ghiette worked in fablabs with high technical industrial materials, exploring their properties in a very experimental way. She created high-tech sculptures looking like recycled products. And built her own stand alone system, borrowing to Industrial production its construction scheme. She was creating her own basic vocabulary and the elaboration of it naturally became an essential part of her work.
