Silicone, pigment, PU, plastic.
CONTEXT
PEAUTATO Man is a sculpture based on the childhood game Mr. Potato Head, a game that, in a symbolic way, we continue to play later on in adult life. By layering accessories and external elements, we try to fit in or stand out.
The work is a playful reflection on how society behaves in a somewhat childlike manner when interacting with one another, using appearance, roles, and masks to communicate and belong.
